Aloha and hello to all of you. I already asked some questions and got very prompt response for which I thank you. I have been reading lots of posts instead of doing my homework  and it seems like newbies are supposed to show pics. I can only attach one at a time, was going to show you all the one (a 95) that got wrecked which led to my newest purchase.
I have had the '96 almost a year. I bought it from a dealer in Texas who had it listed on Ebay . I could not find one for sale in the state when I needed it so I had to look elsewhere. Took only about 5 weeks to get to me! I paid $11,900 (I know, I know) had 122,000 miles, no rust, one previous owner. Interior looked great.

My only upgrades are a new sound system (Alpine deck with iPod adapter, new speakers all around), tinting the windows, and since my catalytic converter and O2 sensor needed to be changed, I did that but replaced only one converter and put on a Flow Master Exhaust. I would love to move back to the mainland and get more off road use but that will have to wait! So far I love this group, when I get home in the morning I am going to show my DH (he has a '78 CJ5) all of the great information I have stumbled across since finding this site.

Welcome :flipoff2: ! I can't tell which is cleaner, the LC or the garage.

Welcome Rachel, Nice cruiser. Kaui is a beautiful place. I wish the 2 times I was there I could have stayed longer.

She's a beauty, and has been said, the best color possible! Welcome!!!

Congrats and

Congratulations Rachel - looks nice.

Just so you don't feel like you were given the cold shoulder, the reason you only got one response to your seat thread is not that noone cared, but you lucked into a response from Landtank who knows those seats inside and out, and noone had anything to add to his thread!

Welcome :flipoff2:

not my garage of course:) it is the garage where I bought it from. they took such great pics, I kept them. Other than the red dirt that has now accumulated on it, it looks much the same!

no problem, I think I actually DID figure out the problem...I think the little screw that was mentioned in the previous posts (the one I thought was not the problem per my HUSBAND) is actually the problem. Hooked up with CDan in case I need to order the whole assembly to fix though. More info than I have gotten in like 4 months of trying to fix the dang thing.
