Hey folks.
Brand new to the forum and about a month into ownership of a 94 land cruiser. She's awesome, however I've found some rust and corrosion issues that I'm dealing with and would love some advice on next steps.
Turns out that 3/4 of the OEM bump stops that live within the shock coils are corroded and GONE.
Looking for advice on how to remediate. Options:
1. replace all pieces with OEM parts - if so where can I find them?
2. cut out rust and fabricate new bump stop mounts within the coil.
2. use aftermarket frame mount bump stops and ignore the missing parts within the coil- if aftermarket, what does the hive mind recommend?
an additional important piece of info is that the coils are needing to be replaced too, so I'm thinking of the 2'' OME springs and shocks?
appreciate the warm welcome and thanks for the advice,
cheers
