I think it died

Thanks for your kind attention. I have had a mechanic work on a different vehicle I own for preventative stuff. I don't know that he has much experience on LC's ... do you have recommendation on who I should have work on this? I don't mind digging in to things myself but I am smart enough to know I don't have the tools and never having done it before doesn't put me in a good position.

Would like to help, but the project card is full. Maybe able to take a look, but can't do the job. I would recommend Murf, has done nice work at a competitive price on head gasket jobs.

If you haven't figured it out yet, Murf is the service manager over at Camelback Toyota. He gets us some pretty good prices on parts and labor.

What's your schedule look like? I'm pretty flexible and so are several others in the area. Another set of eyes can't hurt but probably will confirm what you already know.

Murf and the team at Camelback Toyota did my head gasket.

Mine didn't fail it was replaced when I had the valve guide seals done to stop my morning blue smoke problem. Sent the head out to the machine shop, had the injectors sent out as well.

I had great service and not a single issue with the work that was done.

Top notch experience.

Good luck

Greg

Yep and you're welcome. It sounds like you have it figured out. Now it's time to figure out how to fix it.
