I don’t even deflate for beach sand. Have had no issues.Do regular hills under torrential rain apart from the mud in the farm and it never has let me down so far, for sand I deflate down to 22psi and it works out real good.
Interesting. Headed to Corolla, Outer Banks this Sunday. Will be using the Yoko's for the first time in sand.
OBX sand is much, much softer, and deeper. Highly recommend you air down on any beach out here. It saves your driveline and keeps the beach from getting torn up, and potentially keeps you from getting stuck. May also prevent inadvertent beach bon fire.
