And now I want a 16 again!

Kidding.. I’d still want to be able to do it in my driveway, but I’m glad they were accommodating within reason.

Out of curiosity how much did you pay for the “windshield package?”
I honestly don't remember the price, but do remember that it seemed like a pretty reasonable deal given we go through a windshield a year on each vehicle. Lotta dirt/gravel roads intersecting high speed two-lane up here.

I bought my 200 from a toyota dealer about an hour away. The same dealer group has a lexus branch in my city with a fantastic repuation. When I bought the cruiser, they drove it down to the lexus store and told me I could bring it there for all of my service needs, which I was thrilled to hear. I see 10 to 1 LX to LC where I live, so I imagine the service department is better prepared to work on them.

It is always good to have a good dealer/mechanic in mind when these things come up. Can save you a ton of time and heartache. Glad you got it sorted out and no suprise that Eric was able to provide solid advice to get you out of a jam! Good service never goes out of style!

I have a package that runs about $1000 for 5-years. Covers windshield, lost/broken keys, pointless dents under 4”, and tires/wheels (including cosmetic).

If I were buying one of these that deal sounds like a no-brainer.

Eric...........Is this a package that is transferable to other dealers or is it only valid for use at Ed Martin. I purchased a 2021 Cruiser from you in January and would be interested if the package is transferable.

Yes, absolutely anyone can buy it at any time. Just shoot me an email with VIN/miles at esarjeant@edmartin.com

yes, it’s transferable and cancelable.

I bought the package on my 911 and the key ended up being almost $600 kind of ridiculous.

Eric, out of curiosity, if I brought my 2015 to you with a broken windshield and I wanted it replaced with OEM glass (safelite put some chinese crap in my tacoma, you can see flat spots in upper corners) how much would that run? I don't have a dealer here I trust, but I'd drive to Indy for a burger and a beer. :)

Looks like there are three options so I may need the VIN to be exact. The most expensive one is $877.33 for the OEM glass. Install is about $100.

Thanks Eric, I was curious about cost.
