V6 surf master cylinder, mirror image of the 80 series one just ports in a more convenient place

man vs arcs and the start of a panhard bracket,
The I set it so the draglink and panhard are in the same position of their arcs, so 2” up and down from rideheight has no bump steer,
Enough meat in the top for future high steer

Not bad, all radius arm bolts are in and the only thing forcing the diff is the jack and random coil over coils.
I can’t wait to see it on its wheels with some weight on the front end

On its wheels finally,
still massive clean up to go, and finishing off of stuff but there’s light at the end of the tunnel.
Coils are just spares I threw in need to calculate sprung weight and order new

Cross over bar started, only design consideration was that I could still open the power steering res with it on 😂

Today I woke up and realised i was a moron, that’s the upper link hitting 100mm before the bumps, both sides,

Oh well the best thing with metal is you can take it back out with a grinder. Now that’s a notch and a half lol

More clearance problems, Oh look my car is starting to look like a block of cheese, shock to inner rail corner, at this point I was really wondering why I just didn’t put coil overs in the back, anyway pressing on,

I know some people will think that much material taken out is fine but I don’t, will be filling all the notches and trying to gusset it all back to give it some strength,
Started with outside plates

Also a major problem I have with aftermarket spring manufacturers is that is 95% of their lift coils are are actually no longer, or even shorter than the factory coils and stupidly high spring rates.

My Solution is literally 50mm coil spacers.
Coils stay captive with the 12” travel shocks, keeps the plush ride

Worlds shortest shock towers.

Also a lol and a lesson, reversed out of the driveway and the single sheer steering broke off the knuckle on my Ute.

Lesson learnt, tie rod ends or double sheer only from now on
