Just wanted to give a shoutout. I just bought this for my wife from an old member here. She's tired of generic SUVs. I'm spending a little money to line everything out real nice. We're super excited.

Thanks Jay. It has just short of 200K miles. Three years ago, Matt Stoffregen installed a 5.3/6L80E combo in place of the original powertrain. His workmanship is exquisite. I'm gonna get the shift logic a little more "grandma" and I'm upgrading with some modern features: LED headlights, Apple Carplay, more USBs and power ports, clean up the paint, replace tint, fix a few little broken bits. Just clean up form and function.

Thanks amigo. I'm pretty obsessive compulsive on vehicle restomods. Matt's work is a great starting point. I try to ride a fine line between superior functionality and traditional character. I'll take some pictures of the finished product.
