I am new to this site......found it by chance, and a good find, there is a wealth of good info here.
Have an old 1988 HJ75 that you couldnt kill with a stick.....had it since year dot and now has 945000k on it.
I live in Australia and have driven it everywhere, was initially my work vehicle, lots of towing and carting heavy loads but now that I've retired, its my go away vehicle. Holidays, visiting friends and towing a camper trailer.
Back in 1999 I swapped the old 2H and put a 1HDT in its place.....this was a huge improvement.
But its had a lot of work and chalked up a lot of ks so I've pulled it out and its in the machine shop now.
Should have it back next week and start putting it back together get it going again.
There's info on this site that I will referrence, that will be handy.
