Love Craiglist. On a budget and needed one tire. Found 4 15x10 rim, 3 of them mounted with 33x12.5x.15 BGF mud for 50 bucks. Score!

Pic of tires, before and after black paint job.

Those are the EXACT wheels that I have on my 62 - and exactly what I want to do with them. I feel a little better about my plan now... of course, mine are pitted and rusty as H#LL...!

Well then .... Start sanding. I just went hand power and used scotch-brite pads to remove the rust on mine. M3/scotch-brite drill pads would have been much faster.

FYI Didnt' tape up, just used cheap playing cards from 99cent store (discovered while google'ing)

Nice! Black wheels look great on 60s. If I couldn't find wheels that looked damn near stock, I would've gone for black.

Love the playing card trick too. That's awesome.

You aced that masking job, it came up trumps!!!

BOOOOYAH, yeah, I said it...

Looks great!!!
