I went from 285/75 R16 to 275 70 R18 and I love the 275 width - better driving dynamics than a 285.

Oh really? I was under the assumption that the 285s would beat 275 in all manners. Like off roading, drive comfort and handling. Interesting that's not the entire case though.I went from 285/75 R16 to 275 70 R18 and I love the 275 width - better driving dynamics than a 285.
Why go from 18 to 17? Any reason?I've found a few on Offerup and Facebook for like $50, random off-brands. I may do that, I've just been lazy and caught up with work to be honest. I'm checking out a new wheel setup anyway, and if I pull the trigger I'm stashing these as a second set and going with 17's and ordering 5 wheels/tires.
The 275 that @krice118 has would handle/turn better on the street since it has a shorter sidewall, it will probably do better in heavy rain traction too since the water can evacuate the tread faster too.Oh really?
