New Steering Column (1 Viewer)

Hello all, I am doing a frame off resto on my FJ40. And in this process i am putting in a LT1 so i am going to have to redo all the electronics :-\ What i would like to know is has any one swapped out their stock cruisers steering column? If so from what vehicle? I am trying to find something that has roughly the same height from the floor boards to the wheel as the stock one did.

My dad's has a one out of a mid 70's chevy pickup (manual) and my bro's has one out of an early 80's camero (non-column shifter type) I think. Both work really well.
