I finally got the sliders completed and mounted. I used 2 x 3 rectangle tubing. The entire project was tigged (except for a couple of mig tacks). The support brackets are neither welded or bolted through the frame (no holes). Each slider has 3 brackets - The front and rear overhang the frame and are fastened on the backside with a grade 8 bolt (which lays flush with the frame). The middle bracket is for support only. It is not bolted. I chose this style as to not weaken the frame (or void my warranty).
Notice how the rocker is fixed too.
Now I have to lop off the ends to get the bigger tires to fit...it never ends does it?
