After changing my shocks and springs about 10 times I am finally satisfied. Previous setups include ome j springs and one shocks, then added spacers. Then went to TJM 5in springs and ironman 4-6in lift shocks. Not saying these are bad setups I did love both of them but the new setup seems to be the correct balance for my uses! New setup: OME competition 4in front coils, slee rear 4in coils, front shocks are bilstein external reservoir 5165s with an extended length of 35.7inches and a compressed length of 22inches, rear shocks are 5125s with the same measurements. Since these trucks are not eye to eye which in my opinion is a stronger way to go then stem, some changes had to be made!

End result: love the ride, and can't complain about the travel:)

Damn. Is that a "stock" radius arm setup?

Looks great.

Nice work and looks good. Way to squeeze a little bit more out of her with slightly custom/bolt on approach.

I have the same rear coils, but 37" tires and use a shock that is 5" shorter(with 12" travel) fully compressed? My coil is just getting loose when my shocks are fully extended.

I hate the stem mounts too. You loosing some up travel(not that the tire size increase dictates) from not doing any slight fender trimming/massaging at the rear lip?

Interested as well, running same Slee coils and was thinking of going with the 2.5" radflos but if I can squeak some longer body shocks in with these...I'm game. Still running around a 4.5" bump stop too.

My up travel is lost due to the 40s already but there is still about an inch left in my shocks when I hit bumpstops in the rear, my coils hang loose but are held in by the cones inside the spring perch, I will be adding metal straps to hold them in place better but I do not see any issues so far as of loosing the springs. This setup should work with the 37s and be able to gain the inch of up travel I cannot.

It's hard to see in the picture... how much did you raise the front mounts?
Lowered frame mount side of the radius arms which seemed to help a lot with down travel other then that stock radius arms!
Do you mean the one's like the Man Fre frame caster correction lowering mounts?
I just took off my shocks & disconnected the swaybar & only got 14" comp. to 26.5" ext. in the front.
We need more pics of the underside...

Cut the rear mounts and lowered them about 2 inches using steel square tube

Looks like it flexs well

Top front mount looks a little soft to me. Ran the same shock years back and here another option if your top front does not hold up.

I'll keep an eye on it, it's welded all the way around I think the shock would break before the mount!
