The rear heater unit is leaking coolant all over my floor board. I'm sure this is a common problem so I am wondering what some of you have done to fix this. Is it worth while to repair the unit or do most of you bypass it totally?

I took mine out... still have it if you need one for free...

Thanks for the offer. I think I'm going to do the same. I'm not real familiar where the house go to but did you take off the hoses and plug the holes? I'll start figuring out where everything connects when I get home tonight.

I took mine out when I did the v8 conversion.. so it was easy to re-route all the heater hoses from the engine to the firewall...
Honestly I dont remember how the plumbing was when it was all stock...

My lines are leaking into my engine bay too I really need to take care of them.
