Hey, I'm kinda new to the 80s section, posting up not only to show off the new look but because when i was searching a couple weeks ago i didn't find too many examples of this lift/tire combo.

Quick background: I bought the truck about three years ago for $900, stock with lockers. It leaks a little oil and has some considerable rust as it sat in water after a hurricane at some point, but it's run well so far as my daily driver.

I got rear ended a few weeks ago, and the rear cross member was caved in. So, I took the insurance money down to Iron Pig for a new cross member, a lift and some sliders.

The suspension is OME 850Js in front, 863s in the rear, L shocks, corrective bushings, and sway bar and bump stop drops. I'm happy with the stance, just low enough that the 295 Terra Grapplers aren't dwarfed but tall enough that I can fit 315s later on.

Looks good, IMO. I plan on the 2.5" OME lift and doubt I would go too much bigger than stock w/the tires. Might look funny at first but some bumpers, etc., would take care of that. Nice departure angle, even if it's temporary!

That is the combo that I have installed on my LX450. I used the slee caster plates instead of the blue bushings. When my 295 NTG wears out, I'm going to 35 for sure.
