Just curious since, according to the club's by-laws, nominations were held in November and elections in December, who the new board is. Prospective members might want to know.

Monica, your post sounds defensive. I am sorry my post caused this reaction; it was not my intention.
I think EVERY club in the clubhouse forum should list their current officers as a general principle. It is not a Trail Crew specific idea. Just good PR for folks in the local area to get names to put faces with at meetings and stuff like that.
I know that my old wheeling comrade from the '80s, Doug Wynn, joined at the last meeting, so obviously I am not trying to undermine the club just because I am not renewing.
If anyone finds this thread inappropriate, contact Ron and ask him to delete it. Until then, I think the question remains appropriate: who are the board members for 2010? Unfortunately, neither of you answered that question. If someone calls me at the shop asking about the club [and they do] who should I direct them to for a phone conversation, as opposed to this forum?

Dave West has taken over as president. You can direct inquiries regarding Trailcrew that come through your shop to him. I assume you have his phone number.
I know i'm not a member anymore, however i would make a motion to refer to the "President's" position as "CHIEF" as long as Dave holds it. While your at it, you could call yourselves a TRIBE instead of a club.

Your long statements at the time of your withdrawal have hit pressure points with certain members in Trailcrew but none with me. I understand your departure due to our haphazard approach to club leadership. It’s true and can be seen when comparing our meetings at Coco’s to Phil’s Fraizer Park Club. There is a huge difference and we all know it. The Trailcrew’s intentions are in the right place and that is good enough for me personally at this point in time as I have too many things in my life other than the club to commit to taking it to the next level.
When I came to the Trailcrew meeting for the first time my goal was to meet people to go offroading with. That was very successful and has been ever since. The friendship created should not be taken for granted. When I blew a tire on the freeway on a Friday, picking my gf up from the airport, Joey was ready with two spares to help with no questions asked. When I blew his old spare on the 101 an hour later, he drove out with another spare. I hadn’t known Joey that long and he helped save the weekend for me. When I got back from that trip he gave me 5 good tires and refused to take any money. That type of friendship is what I enjoy despite the label of being in the Trailcrew or not.

Believe me, I know how much Mark has done. I just think that with the big stink he did at the last meeting I attended and basically making me feel like I was a major part of the problem with the Trail Crew, I was just surprised that's all. I may be reading more into it than I should but that's how he made me feel. I was never really trained on being a Secretary for a club, just kinda thrown into it. I really love being a part of a group of people that share my interest in offroading. I have made some wonderful friends and I cherish them. There are clubs that are much closer to me that I could join but I really like the Trail Crew. I guess from actually being a part in a club I now understand why some people stop going to meetings. I want to have fun not make it a job, I have one of those.
