Nobody at my house seems too impressed with my new wheels and tires, so I thought I'd share them with you guys. BFG 35x2.50x15 on 15x8 Rockcrawlers (3.75 backspacing with 1/4 inch spacers in front). Radically changed the look of the truck.

I purchased them as a package deal from 4 Wheel Parts--mounted, balanced and shipped for $957. Big improvement in terms of handling and drivability. Very impressed with the tires so far. Low road noise, handle great. Very happy with purchase. Yeah, I could have fit 37s, but I decided not to push it in terms of breakage.

I'm VERY impressed! I didn't look at the pics but 2.5" wide tires on an 8" wide rim is pretty tricky! :D Those are some tall skinnies!!

Alright, nitpicking aside, the FJ looks great!

Nothing out of the ordinary: Stock, flat springs and a standard SOA. I used the marlin Crawler hi-steer kit with heavier tie rod and drag link and FJ80 rod ends.

And, yes, the tire width is 12.50, although I'm a fan of the skinnies. I looked for some, but now that these are on, I'm very happy with them.

I love your rig! White is cool. I keep seeing cool sprung over rigs, makes me want to ditch the Ironman setup I just put on and go big!
