    Hey,
    Im new here. I have had my 84 fj60 for a few months now. It has a recent engine rebuild and on top of it all, looks pretty good. Nothing crazy just a very clean ride.
    First question. how do i get a pic of my cruiser to show up when i post?
    Second question. Is it worth it to do a v8 swap? I have grown accustomed to driving stuff with larger motors and while i love my fj i miss the v8s. My first thought is to go with a chevy SB and tranny, but since funding is short i glanced at a ford 460ci with c6 tranny hanging around as well. Would that combo even work?

    Glad to be a part of the site now.

    Hi David,

    Welcome to the board! Mine is a white 84 also, sounds like yours is quite a bit nicer though.

    It took me a long time to figure out that picture thing, as I am not good with all things technical. I probably couldn't figure it out again without help. I think there is a section in the FAQ though.

    drive it for a while before you decide on the V8, also do some searches and you'll get tons of opinions....

    Are you talking about the picture under your username? After you have ten posts you can add a picture there through the User CP -> Edit Avatar.

    the SBC is a popular swap as there are adaptors for it, I think anyone who has dropped a 350 in there rig highly reccomends it. Welcome to the forum.:)
