Haha. I gave her another “modern” sedan for daily use (except when it’s raining). So she has no complaints so far.

Toyota here are everywhere (maybe over 80%), not the old Landcruiser though. I guess we may not even have 5 BJ74 here.

grand scheme, rust is steel's natural state.
If I was wiser when younger I would still have 2x 40 series or benefited financially..
It is good if you can have access to parts, or a donor vehicle. In fact, parts availability would be a major one out there.
Sometimes I go to pickapart and grab unusual bolts, electric plugs, pipes unique to toyota, pay a song. Time, money or will...
