Hi all! I recently purchased a 99 LC in need of a lot of TLC. I weighed my options with a liner paint job vs a Maaco paint job vs a professional paint job. Since this is just my weekend adventure rig to be, I went with the cheaper option: Monstaliner.
I’ve also fixed a bunch of minor things on this poor ole girl with new dobinsons suspension and a few under the hood repairs coming within the next couple of weeks.
Also a very special thanks to a member on a certain Fb group that hooked me up with some rare tint that isn’t made anymore to help me match my terrible tint situation I have going on. Thanks Darren!
In the process of making a rear drawer/sleeping platform setup. Tinkering is therapy for sure. Follow my mod-venture if you ever so may. Thanks!

Welcome and nice job on the monstaliner! I know it's not for everyone, but it really does may sense for an off road rig when you compare it to the cost of even a cheap paint job.

So true. Maaco wanted $2500 and guaranteed the life of the paint for 3 years. After the three years is up they said it may or may not start to fail. What good is that?!? 🤷🏻‍♂️
