Despite our high hopes, it appears as though the 38.5" Michelin XML just won't work on this FZJ80 w/ OME springs. :D

I have a set of those tyres here, wont fit my prado either..... :'(

May have to build something around the tyres instead :D

well....315's fit, if I chop aliitle out of the floor in the front, but the wife wasnt going to let me chop the new car..... as it had 230km on it when we were trying the bigger wheels...... :'(

The michies I got for $20 ea at a clearing sale.

Won't fit? I thought you got some Tacoma lift kits for your 90-series?

looked at the tecoma stuff, and still am, but at the moment I run Bilstien struts which have been grooved 30mm higher in the spring seat circlip, and 40mm lift springs in the front to fit the 285's.

The floor area and rear of the front fender need to be cut and pushed in about 30mm to run 315's, let alone 38's.......
