Correct. There was a post someplace either in this thread or another of them possibly being available down under... But that was a couple years ago too.

The only reason I brought this thread back from the dead was because in the 80 series world the DEPO Headlights, and other lighting options, all disappeared with out a trace at some point, and then out of the blue they reappeared and all those who had lusted after them were able to purchase a pair. I am just wondering if anyone knew of a vendor that sold them before who could be contacted, perhaps an ebay vendor or something.

In the HID retro fit thread the was a discussion where LJ had contacted Depot. They had told him they would do a run of them if there was a minimum of 25 orders.... May try contacting depot and see what they say? I would buy a set.

I'm wondering what the actual difference would be in the LHD vs. RHD... Maybe an easy tweak you could do yourself, or is it some kind of difference in the mould for the housing?
If you install RHD housings on your LHD vehicle. It will cause the cutoff to be reverse oriented. Meaning the higher part of the cutoff will be going into on coming traffic vs the curb.

The only difference in the housing is the reflector. You can swap your LHD over, but since the reflector is probably burnt out, it doesn't make sense.

I'd be interested in a set!

I think the first step would be to find a vendor.

I'll give you a hand in your quest. These are the Depo part numbers for 98-05 headlamps. I am guessing they come in pairs and the the "LD" suffix indicates LHD.

<D12-1103P-LD-E1> gets you the most OEM looking pair.

Thanks Schwein for the leg work

Boom, knowledge dropped, thanks.

Am I missing something on the headlight update trend? Are you guys replacing your oem glass headlamps with poly ones? after seeing how bad poly scratches, clouds, and doesn't sparkle after cleaning, and after spending crazy amounts of elbow grease to restore my Camry poly headlamps using the quite effective resto kit, I'm convinced I'm in love with my glass headlamps. What am I missing??
