Saw this sweet rig at work today. Sharp looking 1985. Super clean in and out. Belong to anyone here?
it is Scheduled to load to Wednesday’s ship out of Oakland and destined to NAW port in Hawaii.

That is a sweet truck. Can you imagine the freight bill? Yowza!

Well yesterday a barrel of oil had a negative price. plus there are usually some deals for people shipping stuff to and from hawaii

Shipping a personal vehicle to Hawaii doesn't cost that much - at least not as much as you might fear. Can't put anything inside it though to piggyback (for free frieight). Vehicle must be completely empty for shipping. Hawaii is obviously tropical and surrounded by ocean (and surf). Vehicles rust out there REALLY REALLY FAST.

Plus the hawaii vehicle registration system is interesting...basically if decide to not drive your 60 for a while so you put it in storage...and hen 10 years later you decide to start driving it....well you apparently have to pay the registration and fees for all the years that you had parked it.

I think after 10years a Land Cruiser sitting out in Hawaii there would be nothing left. 😂

Just had a family member ship a vehicle to Oahu. Cost was mostly offset by high resale prices in HI and limited selection of used vehicles. You can get former Jeep/Mustang rentals all day long but lots of vehicles are difficult to find in good shape.
