New guy looking for the right LX470 in Indianapolis, IN (1 Viewer)

Hi All,

I'm Jon and recently joined after beginning a search for a clean LX470 around the Ohio Valley. I started my love for Toyotas recently with a 2016 4Runner and then a 2014 Tundra. Both vehicles have been great so looking to get into the world of the 100 series.

I've done some research and looking across a few platforms looking for the right fit and have found a few options. Once I find the right one, I'll add in the details and pictures. But for now, just wanted to introduce myself.

If anyone knows of any good candidates, let me know!

Well I found a lx470 and I love it. 2001 with 166k miles. Maintenance history on it is pretty good. Drove it back from Chicago to Indy today and have started my list of thing to fix/update/replace.

It did ride well- but certainly wasn’t a magic carpet ride so I’ll likely be adding in AHC globes to the list.

Looking forward to learning and more importantly searching for answers.

AHC was just a tad over filled. Measurement photo is parked on a slant- but it sits right between min and max when level. Globes are ordered and will be doing a full service on it once they arrive.

Gonna drive it for however long it will let me. It’s come a long way in a few days. Looking forward to sorting it all out.

Swapped my BBS’s on and added spacers.


Next up: wheel bearings, AHC refresh and DT headers.

Yes it does- it’s on the list to be removed. It also had it on the high mount stop- but had to replace that due to a crack and a leak.
