Just made it up from Texas, have a 1994 Toyota FZJ80 on 33's, unlocked for now. Stock other than the tires. Couple of leaks, bad paint, she's beautiful.

Would love to meet up with some of you guys and turn some wrenches of have some of ya'll show me around some good trails or forest service roads that are doable in a stock FZJ.

Welcome Joseph! What brings you up here from Texas?

There's plenty of places a stock 80 can go with some decent tires. We try to meet once a month and are in the process of putting together a weekend wrenching/BBQ party sometime in the next few weeks.

As to where you can take your truck... here are a few shots from this weekend's campsite, fully accessible by your truck:

Wife got a job in the area, and she is originally from here. I tagged along.

I would love to join in on any little adventures or wrench parties. I redid my birf seals before I made my way up, but ended up losing the spring for the driver side seal. Not suprisingly it is leaking again, need to order a seal and get it re-did. Also pretty handy myself, should be able to help some others out as well.

That was a great trip.
Welcome brother! Hopefully we will get locked in for a meet up here soon, it may be kind of light considering this is a busy time of the year for a lot of us. Which city you living in?

We're having our monthly meeting at my house on the 11th, you should come by.

Howdy, Joseph. Nice to see a fellow Texan up here in the PNW. I've wheeled up at Evan's Creek a few times. Like Kyle said, it can be a bit tight. I banged my old '72 Scout up pretty badly up there. They've done quite a bit of work since the last time I was there, though.

Missed you at the meet up on Saturday. Yohavos had a "welcome to the club" gift for you. I'd get ahold of him before he sells it. LOL.

Making a trip up to Surprise Lake this Saturday if you're interested. Hopefully we can get a good group of guys to go.
