Let me start by saying I’ve spent hours reading the various seat threads. My Land Cruiser is a 96 and I’m tired of replacing seat gears and having the driver seat slide forward slightly every time I brake so time for new front seats.

I go back and forth between Recaro specialist M or Scheel-Manns since I can’t really do much fab work, this would be the easiest method for me because I would just buh planted brackets and whatever slider. My concern is I need two car seats in the backseat and I’ve read that Scheel-Manns can take up most of the back seat.

Any advice is appreciated.

I've always wanted to check out Scheel-Mann's.

If you're in CA I'd happily make you some brackets just to check them out.

I went Sparco and though I love it, I'd love to check out a nice seat.

Find a part out and get the manual seats from an earlier 80 series. More leg room and no sliding around. It is a bolt in option.

I got a Scheel-Mann and for a while I wasnt really happy. Then I got some seat jackers that change the angle and it much better. They took sometime to get used as they got more broken in.
