Hello-

Figuring out my great new ride and having a great time with this project.

I've had the vehicle for three weeks now and noticed that my power window are extremely slow. The rear two windows don't even have enough power to go down completely. Where do I start with this one. Thanks for your help!

Adam

I would start by lubing the track with silicon lubricant. Then would disassemble the door and check for corrosion on the elec contact that would be preventing power from getting to the motors. I'm not an expert though and am sure other things could be at work here. Definitely use the search button and you should come up with some results.

If your new cruiser was sitting for any amount of time (Mine was) then the tracks need greesing and the window needs some use. My rear would only roll down half way when i picked it up last week. I have greesed the track and rolled it up and down quite a few times since then and it has sped up each time. If it does not the I would pull the door apart like CHase77 recomended.

for sure you have old wires, bad contact that means low V .. for windows motors .. check all parts and off course some silicon lubricant for the windown track.

Put a door skin on and took apart the main plug on the drivers side. cleaned it and works much better.

You might have a motor problem , but doubtful.
