So long story short, I own a 1978 fj55.
I’d like to build this into my safari (hunting) rig, but I am involved in a full custom pro street semi truck build at this time, and have a kid in college, and well you know typical life stuff.
What is a rough but mostly complete fj55 worth? It has some cancer in the typical areas, but the roof looks close to perfect. The rear window mech is in place and good condition, the door handles and mirrors are intact. The fj has been engine swapped, it has a Chevy 350 with adaptor to factory Toyota trans. The truck drives alright, considering it has not been sitting since 2017. The previous owner had it since 1980 (cool old title).
