I recently got my hands on a 1983 BJ60 with the 3B diesel. Found this forum and decided I should join. Previously I've owned Jeep Cherokees and Broncos, so I'm new to the Toyota game. So far I love this truck, although it's keeping me busy. Work done prior to my acquisition:
Turbo added, lift springs, 4.56 gears in rear, 285/75 Toyo tires.
Work currently in progress or completed by me in the past month:
Weld-it-yourself bumper from Northwest Trail Innovations, winch, Aussie locker installed in rear, front axle rebuild, re -gear, and locker.
Future things to add: Manafre shackle reversal (going to have to design a new bumper for fitment), rear bumper, rock sliders, manual over ride to shut down injector pump (doesn't always turn off with the key).
