I've got the opportunity to get a stock 88 FJ62 with 141k miles, original paint, rims, interior, etc. Runs great no major problems mechanically. Never been out of the South and I'm gettring from the third owner for 6700. The big question...good deal or not. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks.

I think thats a fair price, not a steal but a fair price for a good clean , well takin care of fj62, if no rust, no dents, nice int, ect.

heck when our 88 got totaled last year, with 330k on it, insurance paid out $8900 + I kept the old 62. We bought a mint one owner 90 with 230k on it for $5000k

Thanks. Just a couple of dings and zero rust. Had a 72 FJ40 about 10 years ago and I've been dying to get into another cruiser.

For a clean rust free 62 with no issues and only 141k ....fair to be sure ...and approaching (if not right at) good.

Yup, that's a pretty solid deal! Just make sure you don't have to do the front seals and bearings 1st thing!
