Evening all, busy day at the clinic and jsut saw this thread.
Here is the 1976 FJ40 that I picked up from Prescott Valley from an awesome seller. He was good friends w Jeremiah Proffit and so some of the work was done by him personally over the year. I've been wanting a 40 for some time; my old man had one after Vietnam, so I started looking a few years back, and the timing/location and condition were right on this one.
I replaced the DUI on it over the weekend due to worn out shaft that was not advancing properly. Here she is on the maiden drive:
Here is the old man and his 40 back in 74 or so.
The Tundra is a 2014, with some goodies I've added:
Past TLC was a 91 FJ80 that I had for several years, but needed something different at the time when I was headed back to school. If y'all see me around in Flag, say hello.
