Well, I felt like the beast needed some attention so I decided to order some items up. I purchased the Slee caliper to axle four line kit and then went down to napa and picked up some 100 series front brake pads and speed bleeders. I put the bleeders in (the rear ones that napa suggest are actually a bit short, but will work if you crank them down super tight) and then the new SS brake lines from SLEE. All I can say is, SLEE makes some good s***. Those lines are super sweet!! Anyway, I put some new pads on the front as well. When all was said and done (bled the system twice and still has a mushy pedal
) I felt better that the beast has some new items on it. Its been two weeks since the last purchase (sliders
) so I felt like I was slacking taking care of her.
I will post some pictures of the beast when I get some time. Oh ya, those speed bleeder........well, I have to admit, they work BUT I feel they are not what they are cut up to be. Reason why, I think air gets past them when you depress the pedal while bleeding the brakes.
