Hi

Have an Hj61 with worn out cables with lead terminals. I hate how poorly my connections have been for so long and want to make up new ones.

Recently my low side positive arced all night and destroyed my year old post.

Would you recommend brass or copper post connections? Crimped or soldered?

Wire -fine strand or just regular stranded cable?

Just replaced the wrong batteries with group 27 and 27F thanks to mud!

Dont want to destroy these with the bad wiring so getting things ready to replace.

Thanks for any advice!
