What trans controller were you planning on getting?I've been silently praying for my VAF to kick the bucket for years, I have a spare harness wired for a haltech and aftermarket trans controller ready to go, I just need the excuse to install it and buy the Haltech.
Compushift, it even has CAN interface to work with the haltech so you can retain the timing retard on shifts if you so desired.What trans controller were you planning on getting?

temp probe pretty commonly fails, sometimes the flapper sticks sometimes the contacts the arm wipes on just plain wear throughAnyone know what usually goes bad in the factory VAF? The electronics or something mechanical with the flapper?

Looks like it's drawn wrong based on the test readings and uses ~2K thermistor..
I'm going to convert my '94 to RusEFI and use a MAF and eliminate the distributor.
