Picked up an '85 FJ60 today for use as a work tool/trash hauler. 250k with records back to the the date of purchase. Got it from the original owner! It's a little rusty, but it will survive for a few more years. Even has a Fairey overdrive!

The frame is pretty rusty in the back... there are some aftermarket holes installed. When it fails I'll definitely be salvaging the overdrive and mechanicals.

did some ghetto body work yesterday, chopping out rust where I could and sanding off surface rust. filled some spots with bondo (i know, but trust me, this is not a restorable rig) and added a bit of fiberglass to the leading edge of the hood. looks okay! now to pull the rusty skid plates and see where the transmission/t-case is leaking from...

spike, i think $375 is a bit cheap for a fairey, don't you?
