I've been around on the 60 and 80 section of mud for a while now. I just bought my first 40 yesterday. 1970 mostly original and looks great from 10 feet. Very little rust and will be a great rig to get my hands dirty with. I will have tons of questions and look forward to becoming a contributing member to the 40 section(hopefully). It does need quite a bit of work but I will start with the suspension as it is most needed. Anyway, just thought I would give a proper intro and thanks in advance. I'll post pictures as soon as my new Internet connection is up at the house.

they sure a bit easier then the 60's.
I've been workin on one since last October. I havent had one since 1992. Ive been driving 60 series since then. Cant wait for the summer and topless rides....

I rebuilt a 67' Chevy shortbed stepside back in 94 and converted from a straight six to a 327. Everything new and what parts I could find in good shape. These 40's are soooooo much easier in imho.
