Hi guys,
I've had my LC for about a month now. It's Meteor Grey, one-owner, 125K miles in Chicago area. Rust is minimal on undercarriage, except for rear bumper reinforcement plate. I have been interested in these trucks for a long time, but finally my old vehicle, 2001 Isuzu Vehicross, died. One test drive and I was pretty much hooked. VIN lookup show TB service and other dealer maintenance throughout vehicle life. I will use it mostly for commuting and hauling woodworking supplies, lumber, etc.
Here's a picture:

Congrats on the truck and Welcome to MUD :flipoff2:! (MUD salute). More pics!

Vehicross? Thats a very different vehicle
Yeah, I have a soft spot for unusual vehicles. The Vehicross was Proton Yellow, and extremely easy to find in a parking lot. The other day I walked up to a grey Toyota and my remote wouldn't work. It took me a few seconds before I realized it was the wrong car. I'll figure it out eventually.
Thanks,
Dave

Thanks. I'm embarrassed to post pictures, since the truck is so stock, compared to the others on this site.

We don't care, we're picture junkies.

What's the rust look like? Top side looks great!

I don't have underneath pictures, but rust is very superficial except passenger rear wheel well, and rear bumper reinforcement plate. I bought new bumper pieces, and sprayed everything down with Fluid Film. The truck is nothing like the rust-free trucks from warmer climates, but it would feel a little wrong driving a totally clean truck around here. It's as nice as you ever want around here.
I'll post more pics. Here's one of my redone seat bottom cushions:
Thanks,
Dave

Embarrassed??? Nonsense. Stock or modified its a LC! Love em all. We very passionate about LC on here. Never ever be ashamed of owning any LC in any condition or setup.

Nice, always liked the way they look with no roof rack and running boards. I hear that’s the best color (Galactic Gray) :)

Cool cool. I just picked up my 1st (of to be many) LC here 3 months ago. Its 2004 Silver had 110k miles on it. Is all factory. I’m going through and fixing anything wrong with it, nothing crazy, timing belt, brakes, minor broken bolts/rattles. I just had the check engine light, VSC, trac off all on, got that fixed. I have roof rack and running boards still, been contemplating on removing the running boards, but my 2 little girls (2 & 5) use them all the time. They are obsessed with the “big truck”. I want to go through it as things are old/broken/tarnished and “refurbish” my
LC to new condition. Slowly work my way back to $85k retail tag 😂
