Today I finally brought home a new to me 2010 LX570. Its a 1 owner GA truck with 120k miles. It has been serviced every 5k at a Lexus dealership. It’s exceptionally clean inside and out.
I’m loving it so far. It’s so awesome to drive. Like a super responsive bank vault going down the highway!
My 2000 LX470 is my trail vehicle so I plan to use the 570 as a daily driver and road trip vehicle. Im not ashamed to say I don’t plan to do anything off-road but will probably do a sensor lift and AT tires just for looks.
I have been trying to search for info regarding tire sizes. Seems like there isn’t quite as much info on the LX as there is on the LC. I know everything I need to know is on this board but it gets fatigueing/brain-numbing after a while.
I ran a 305/65/18 ko2 on the 06 TLC I traded in on this 570 and really like that width. I was thinking if I kept the 20s i might try the 305/55/20. After all of the reading I’m still unclear if I can run this on the factory 20s without a spacer? Or maybe a 295/60/20. I read some guys use 3/4 spacers and that doesn’t seem to bad if that would do it, but I’d rather not if I can get away with it.
I’m excited to now be a part of the 200 series community and I look forward to learning from you guys!
