I don't understand why they bother for such small amounts of weight. Mine says 5 kg or 12 lbs.

There's probably some stupid DOT rule that makes them do that sticker. Or more overbearing lawyers making dumb rules (similar to the stupid remote start that shuts off the engine when you open the door).

These numbers seem random....kind of reminds me of buying pre-sliced deli meet at the grocery store!

Doesn't seem to have any rhyme or reason to the weight reduction. Stock 2013 LC.
