Need valve adjustment, recommendations?

Hey everyone.. I'm thinking it's about time to do a valve adjustment on my HJ61 w/12HT. Seems like a fairly easy job, but I don't have a good workspace right now, so I'm going to pay someone to do it for me. So, my question is, can anyone recommend someone in the Victoria area that is competent enough to adjust the valves and smooth the rockers? I was contemplating just taking it in to crappy tire, but I'm a little worried they might f-something up.

I cannot recommend anyone, but I would NOT take it to crappy tire.

Can you find a diesel truck shop anywhere? Or Just try Toyota, but bring the FSM so the tech can follow it.

ya because there's no tech at crappy tire that ever owned a diesel cruzer!!!!! plus i down think they would even work on a diesel cruser mecanicaly anyways

Now I am not saying this (out loud anyways) about every Crappy tire but I had to do a job in Alberta in the winter, I didn't get a chance to change the oil to something lighter so I decided to do it over there. Toyota could not help me that day so I risked the morons at C.T., the guy (early 30s) pulls my truck in without waiting for the glow plugs to heat (luckily it was still warm), pops the hood and stands there just staring at it. I walk up and ask him what's up, so he responds - "Where are your spark plug wires?", I laugh a bit and tell him it's a diesel, so he asks (this is true!), "So, ....then how does it run?". I closed the hood quickly and against the protests of the manager drove out of their bay.
Moral - Never take a vehicle to Crappy tire unless you want it broken. (ok, so maybe I am saying it out loud)

well mayby at some crappy tires but i have no coment becaue i worked at a crappy tire and we wern't morrons but the one on the other side of the city are complete idiots i guess it deppends on the location ......
