Good evening to all in aus.
I hope its ok to ask the following here.
I've just taken my fj75 troopy In for a roadworthy and it was knocked for the rear bar not having a compliance plate or stamp and a couple other small things. I was hoping someone could help me out with a bumper or second hand bar?
I hate the rear bars I've found online with the exception of one from NZ... and he doesn't make them for the troopy YET!
I really don't want to buy new bar $1500-2500
And not like it. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Also don't mind ppd rear bars but need something to get me over the pits to begin with

Is the top photo your rear bar? Doesn’t sound right them knocking back your rear bar if it is.
I sold a Ute to someone in Vic (I’m from Qld) and he got knocked back for some items and decided to dispute it using their criteria and a different inspector and was successful.
The Facebook group “70 series landcruiser owners” has a couple of admin from VIC. If you ask there they will give you some options.
Also Marketplace has a couple of second hand rear bars for 70 series which are commercially made with compliance.

Take it to a different insector, Australia sucks like this. Particularly Vic and NSW.

Yeah top one is mine... ugly as hell anyway lol. I found someone getting rid of a factory 78 bumper in good condition for $25
Hopefully I can fit it up without too many problems
