What do you think about this grease for packing the birfield and knuckle?


Mobilgrease XHP 460 Series

The 462 Moly would be good... Maybe, it doesn't tell you the % of Moly
I would go with the Mine series - XHP322 Mine
NLGI grade 2, Lithium based, 5% moly and good for 280C

No experience with that, Ive always used Amsoil with no problems

It seems like the guy I talked to on the phone said it was 3 to 5 % IIRC. The Amsoil looks dead on but a little pricey for me.

If you have a Caterpillar store in the area - they have a 5% moly grease (I have been using it-so far no issues) as does IIRC John Deere fwiw

My grease came in today and it has 3% moly. Does Toyota publish how much moly they want in the grease? I don't recall ever seeing any official numbers.
