I have a 13BT and going uphills has always been a drama for me.

What speed can you maintain up Greenmount hill? My 1HZs both pull 80 kph all the way

Oh and newbies... it helps to put your vehicle in the signature line. So when you ask questions people know what vehicle your referring to.

Cheers.. BB

Damn do you have any idea how long it's been since someone called me a newbie when talking Cruisers?

Note, sig now in place.

Cheers

thanks the information and yes it is the 3.4l its nice to get some answers to my questions iwas getting really frusterated I called the 2 bigest toyota shops in sask talked to the main diesel mechanics and all i got was ugh ugh i dont now those are way before my time they couldnt even tell me if the filter light on my dash that had come on was for the fuel filter or the air filter .as you can probably tell im not a mechanic but i did know that that was the fuel filter light 90%any way.my neighbor just bought a 82 bj 60 with the same engine he has narow tiers and no lift he also finds his rig lacking in power where cold we get comp tests done and what should it be where in the world could i find a mechanic for these engines my home town papered mechanic is unable to tell me much had him replace alt and he said thats about as far as he could go on it .I would like to maybe rebuild motor how much should this cost I know it may depend on the type of rebuild but what would be the low end and what would be the top end thanx terry willbe gone logging for 6 days talk then

well, your better off comming to mud for info than going to a toyota shop, for the most part toyota is useless for info cause if they cant look it up on their little computer with the year of the vehicle they are totaly lost. i have found that parts stores are also pretty much the same as far as this goes.you could probably ajust your fuel without to much of a trade off at higher elevations seeing as your in sask and probably wont be climbing any big mountains.like they said bigger exhaust would prolly help as well. what part of sask are you from? i have family around loon lake...could go wheelen next time im home :grinpimp:

i just got my pz70 in and it's a keeper. but i want to up grade turbo and lockers the muffler has a hole in it so i'm changing the the whole exhaust system i should go to 2.5 pipe and install a pyro?

a turbo makes that little engine really come alive. the PZ(T) i have moves that 70 with no problems even with 36" boots. i am running turbo, 2 1/2" aluminized exhaust, pyro, oil pressure (tapped in where the oil pressure goes into the turbo) and boost gauges...
14 psi is nice

cheers and congrates on a nice unit
