Need measurement on a '65 firewall... (1 Viewer)

I'm working on repairing the firewall on a '65 FJ40 that was bastardised by a PO that had swapped in an SBC and hacked some stuff up in the process. The hole for the brake master cylinder is a mess. I plan to weld in some new metal to repair it but I have no idea what size the original hole was. Hoping someone can provide a measurement. Thanks!

Sheez, that’s some ugly cutting .

IIRC it’s the same size as the clutch’s.

the brake hole is correct, it's the clutch hole that is fubar
either way, they are the same
