Hi everyone,

Does anyone know what type of hose clamp I should use when replacing my transmission cooler hoses with the Gates green stripe 3/8 oil cooler hose?
Gates Green Stripe Oil Cooler 3/8

I believe going with a constant tension hose is going to be the right choice here, that being said I'm wondering if there's a Toyota hose clamp that works with an outer diameter of 5/8ths of an inch. Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks!

Use OEM clamps.

Those look like a great deal. A lot cheaper than the Gates brand. Do you have to link to the thread by chance?

FWIW, the majority of aftermarket hose clamps, especially if the price is very low, are made in C - C - P chy nah.

Breeze Constant Torque clamps AFAIK are still made in the USA (be on the lookout for cheapo chy nese copies).

There was a thread some time ago where someone listed all the OEM part numbers for the various sizes of OEM clamps, one of those will fit and work as designed.
