I own a HJ60 2h with 4 Speed Manual transmission. My Truck runs fine just came bak from 600 KM drive.

My EDIC relay, Oil Meter in the cockpit, Tacho is not working since the day rig was purchased. I had to stall it every time motor needs to cut off, I paid a heavy price for this habit(My Crankshaft was broken into 3 Pieces cos of stalling). After that I installed a cable for shutting down motor from IP.

I have friend who is flying to New Delhi from Boca raton, Florida in Jan 3rd Week. Please let me know about parts dealer in North America.

Is there any way I can check whether my Oil Sender unit is ok or not?

Download the free FSM on here. The oil sender can be tested with a volt/amp meter.

We didn't get many diesel cruisers in the USA at all. You're better off searching in Canada, Europe or Australua.

Best of luck!

Thanks Georg for your reply, I will try to check in Canada and Australia now. Oil Sender should send show 12V right on the Volt/amp meter right?

Are you taking about the oil sender for the gauge, or the one for the edic?

Eric sender is easy, check that your sender is open to ground when engine is off.
A few seconds after start, it should close and you will have ground on the sender.
If that's OK, then you have other edic related issues, most likely the control box in passenger side foot well.
Check it out, you could get a few years out of it by cleaning it up, if it's not corroded beyond repair.

For the oil gauge sender unit, you'll have to check FSM for proper values, but my guess is that it's dead, or next is bad wiring.
These are common to fail, but an easy fix.

Tacho fix is probably sender unit on top front of bellhousing.
Common to fail, either clogs up, gets loose or wires are not happy.
You should be able to see it on the drivers sideat about 11 O'Clock at the bell housing if my memory serves me right.

Good luck!
