I'm going to cross-post this up here too to see if anyone locally might have a lead. I need linkage that'll fit my '78. I posted this in the 55 classifieds.

I have a '73 FJ55 but mine had a weber on it. I don't have of the parts you need but if you need parts in the future let me know. As a matter of fact if anyone wants a parts pig I would be willing to sell.......cheap.

Sounds good! Just to let you know the body is worthless! The guy I bought it from started to turn it into a truck of sorts. At the time I thought I needed a new motor, but I did some head work and the original motor is now running like a champion!!

Howdy! Do you want to stay "original" or not? I am using the V8 conversion cable which would work if you just fabbed up a mounting bracket on the side of the carb. John
