I need to know how wide a factory FJ 40 frame rail is. I am buying steel and forgot to measure that before I left home (hr+ each way to steel yard). If anyone has it please let me know?

Not frame rail widths and individual side rail width?

Is it the same throughout the frame and for the different years? What year frame, 68?

Since it's c-channel. I measured 2" OD wide x 3 3/4" tall. Hope that helps, cuz I don't understand the second question but I think this is what you are asking as your are purchasing steel.

Thank you fellas. I neglected to say 68 FJ40 and i need the width of the individual rail one side or the other right where the rear of front spring mount.
