Listed as a 1980 model. Its still in oz but ready for shipping to Florida.
Looks like its about to burst out with cancer in a dozen places:rolleyes:

Someone is going to wake up one day to the practice of selling vehicles with incorrect year on them

Yea that was the one i thought i read its located in Miami, Florida but maybe i didnt see its still in OZ, if i was in US and was going to import it i wouldnt def be getting a hzj75 troopy over the 2h troopy and it dosnt have a sub tank but heaps of bids on it

It is in Florida. Too lazy to put my reading glasses on:D
It went for $9500. I doubt they would have made a killing on that

The problem for americans is they cannot import a vehicle until it is 25 years old. This is their 1st year they can buy a 7* series.
I would be waiting for the price to come down like it did with the HJ47 diesels or have a holiday in oz and spend half of it looking at cruisers to send home.
Troopy bodies can be treacherous things;)

x2 you dont seem many of the older troopys going around without rusty front windows and rear wheel arches and roof gutter the utes seem to never rust as much as troopys maybe only the window frames, but i guess they only have half the body:D

x2 The roof of the troopy traps condensation unless its well ventilated.

I did see an old one at Pickles Auctions once that had no rust.
It had belonged to the Pitjantjatjara Health Clinic and had done 300000 klms on desert tracks .
It had been driven through fences, hit termite mounds ,no windows and had been flipped on its side ,but not a skerrick of rust anywhere.
Engine ran like it was new too

I drove a friends "BJ45" 3B/5spd with a CT-26 turbo and intercooler this spring. Same chassis but maybe a little lighter. It didn't give me whiplash but you could definitely feel the power of the torque. 5th gear 120Km/hr up small hills with no trouble. 7-10 psi boost, no pyro and I can't recall the rpms. Plenty for me anyway - I'm putting that same combo into my truck.

SHould pull as well as a 13B-T which is basically what you will have made :) haha imagine it with 21psi oooooooooooppppppppsssss maybe not.
