I need a new radiator for my lx470 and just called the Lexus dealer and they quoted me $909.00 for the radiator. Anyone got any lines on the oem radiator on the mainland that will ship to Hawaii?

Most will not ship radiators. They get damaged and returned to often.

Ask your local dealership for the Mexican spec radiator. Also ask for a better price.;)

I just found this aluminum radiator on eBay. Obviously it isn’t oem i was just hoping to make it an easy install by getting oem. But for the price difference I can convert to electric fans, and do an all aluminum radiator. Fit Toyota Land Cruiser; Lexus LX470 UZJ100 V8 MT 98-07 99 02 aluminum radiator | eBay

I am pretty sure i have the ability to make it work being i have a background in aircraft metal fabrication. However if its known to be a terrible fit I would rather not. But if its just drilling a new hole or building a bracket it maybe worth it to me.

anyone have any experience with this company?

thank you!

Can't speak to that specific manufacturer, but there have been at least a handful of guys here who found leaking from their eBay all AL radiators shortly after install. Would be sweet if a good quality aluminum was available.

Denso is the OEM supplier. If I order a new radiator through my local dealer, that's what I'll get.
I didn’t think denso was the original supplier of radiators? I thought the radiators came from a different supplier

Amazon TYC

I was looking at these the other night ~$500, not sure if they will ship. Otherwise I have heard good things on the Denso ones.

I got mine from there (they are local to me). It was also the cheapest I could find anywhere. I don't know if they will ship, but many of our local cruiser guys buy from them and they are good folks. Worth considering. Also, you may know this already but the toyota and lexus radiators are interchangeable -- but buying from lexus will be considerably more expensive, same is true of steering racks and a few other bits.

I’m local as well. I like that they will next day deliver to my door, has been free for the past 6 months at least. Super helpful!

I just bought the denso from my local Napa for $200.83. I can’t get over the Hawai’i dealer prices. I’ve been price checking hoses and stuff from them vs dealer online prices. Almost double on some things

There may have been a change since production, but I can confirm that if I order a rad from my local dealer, it will be a Denso. I think I'd read something about how Toyota own(ed) a portion of Denso and maybe had their own manufacturing through Denso? IDK, I think it was @Ayune or @hoser who'd written about it.

There is a whole thread about the oe ones came from a place called Trad not denso

Thats a good price for the Denso from Napa. I just checked NAPA online and I am seeing ~$390.

Yeah I was in the shop and they quoted me 200. I told them I would let them know. Called them to order it and it was $422. So I went back to the other Guy and got the radiator for $200! Ha ha. Don’t know why the huge price difference but I thought it was cheap enough. Just picked it up and it looks correct. Haven’t pulled my old one yet but from the looks it appears to be correct

Looks like you may be referring to what I was, but I remembered it wrong. Denso is an OEM supplier for Toyotas, but looks like T.Rad did the parts for Cruisers specifically.

Best replacement radiator for the money today... Page 2 here starts the conversation. Might be pertinent to anyone reading this thread.
